The Omnibus Show is a Podcast started by Dave Gibbs. Gibbs started out, after graduating from Indiana University, as a journalist
and photographer; he worked all over Indiana, the Pacific Northwest, and the Chicago area. His late father, John, was the Executive Producer
for City Desk, at WMAQ-TV (NBC) Chicago, which was a decades long interview show between top reporters and celebrities, people, and
politicians with ties to Chicago.
Gibbs started out, after graduating from Indiana University, as a journalist and photographer; he worked all over Indiana, the Pacific Northwest,
and the Chicago area. His late father, John, was the Executive Producer for City Desk, at WMAQ-TV (NBC) Chicago, which was a decades long
interview show between top reporters and celebrities, people, and politicians with ties to Chicago.
“Most people are very busy with their lives. And, while there are many popular podcast programs that go up to two and three hours, most people
only have time for short bits of media. They want substantive content.
The purpose of this show is to get a brief story of the guest, to learn from the wisdom of their experience, and to learn what’s next for them.”

The Omnibus Show E058 Herron Dean Greg Hull Discusses the Journey of Art
Carmel, IN – June 10, 2024 – This week, The Omnibus Show welcomes Greg Hull, Dean of Herron School of Art + Design, Indiana University, Indianapolis, and also serves as a Commissioner on the Indiana Arts Commission.
Learn about Hull’s experiences - from a childhood in Richmond, Indiana to having his art shown in galleries and museums nationwide. Find out about his artistic interests and the various honors his art has garnered for him.
As an artist, Greg's work largely focuses on public art. His current research, in collaboration with an Art Therapist and Neurologist, utilizes technology to develop tools and methods that contribute to healing and the quality of life for patients and families navigating neurodegenerative diseases within the healthcare system.
Hull, a professor at Herron School of Art + Design, was appointed dean in 2021. As a professor, he taught courses in foundation studies and sculpture. Prior to joining the school, Hull taught in the Sculpture Department at Kansas City Art Institute.
He received his B.F.A. degree from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1985, then attended the University of Delaware, where he received his M.F.A. in 1991.
