Carlson is a mother of four who grew up in Carmel. After a career in journalism, she eventually found the importance of plants and how it enhanced her experience in the workplace, thus leading to the formation of Naturspire.
With the average American spending over 90% of their time indoors, Naturspire is dedicated to educating others on the importance of incorporating biophilic design to their daily environment. They provide nature-centric solutions to enhance client's overall wellness – this works as they bring nature indoors and create a welcome, inviting space.
In the podcast, Carlson highlights some local projects you can check out in the community and highlights various ways that Naturspire’s designs can be used to help people in their home or workplace. Naturspire works with mosses and other greens, to create designs, both indoor and outdoor, as well as offering other services for their clients.
